Note: If you do not meet the requirements for active membership (below) but would like to know about our events, please email us and let us know where you're from, if you're part of any related groups, etc.

Membership Requirements

Any University of Maryland undergraduate student, graduate student, faculty, and staff are eligible for active membership.  In accordance to Student Government policy, voting membership must be restricted to undergraduate members. In addition, the following requirements are necessary to constitute active membership:

1. Attendance of over 50% of all weekly meetings.

2. Active participation in all activities sponsored by Maryland Students for Life to the best of one’s ability, barring scholastic, financial or moral constraints.

Maryland Students for Life openly admits students to its membership and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, sex, sexual preference, marital status, personal appearance, age, national origin, political affiliation, physical or mental disability, or on the basis of rights secured by the First Amendment of the United States Constitution.
