  • Campus Resources for
    Jewish and LGBTQQIA Students
    • Pride Alliance
      UM's LGBTQI, Questioning and Allied Student Organization. Includes small groups such as Queer-Straight Alliance, SafeSpace, Bisexuals at Maryland, Women2Women, Trans U, and True Colors of Maryland.

    • Office of LGBT Equity
      This office’s mission is to, “provide a wide range of information, education, and support services regarding sexual orientation and gender identity or expression,” in the campus community.

    • LGBT Studies Department
      Interested in receiving an undergraduate minor or certificate in LGBT studies? Or, how about just taking an interesting elective class? Find out more at 2212 Marie Mount Hall.

    • Multicultural Involvement and Community Advocacy
      LGBT Student Involvement and Advocacy promotes student development and campus participation for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender students.” Located in Suite 1120 of the Student Involvement Suite at Stamp Student Union, or contact at MICA-contact@umd.edu or 301-314-8600.

    • University Health Center
      The University’s Health Center site designed for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered Student concerns.

    • Maryland Hillel's LGBT Webpage
      Hamsa is a Hillel-recognized group, having won the 2009 award for “Best New Student Group.” In addition, “Maryland Hillel supports and welcomes all students in their effort to find their place in the Jewish Community.”

    • Jewish Student Union
      The Jewish Student Union is the largest cultural and social organization recognized and sponsored by the University, through the Student Government Association.
