A junior Electrical Engineering and Physics double degree, Alex has been with the club since Fall 06. Previously Match Coordinator, he has been elected as President at the end of the Spring 07 semester, and reelected in Spring 08.
His favorite Club Tennis event was the trip to Flushing Meadows for the first Battle of the Sections, and he is thrilled about organizing the second annual Maryland Club Tennis Fall Invitational.
His other favorite sport is soccer, and he is a member of The Crew - Supporters of Maryland Men's Soccer. |
A senior Biology and Psychology double degree. She joined the club in the spring of 2006 and has served as the club's secretary during the spring 2007 semester. In addition to club tennis, she is involved in other clubs and organizations on campus, including Gemstone, Golden Key, and the Pre-Med Society.
Her favorite club tennis event was the tournament at the University of Delaware in the spring 2007 semester, and she is really excited for all of the matches and tournaments this semester. |
A senior Electrical Engineering major, Chris has been a member of the club since its inception in Spring '06. He was elected treasurer at the end of Spring '07, and has arranged for the new Under Armour uniforms that are now available to members.
Outside of tennis, Chris is vice president of the IEEE student chapter at Maryland, and also a member of the Hinman CEOs program. He enjoys playing basketball and frisbee, and also watching Terp football and basketball games. |
A Class of 2010 double major in Marketing and Psychology with a minor in Chinese Language, Mary has been a member of the club since Spring 2008. Although she is fairly new to the organization, Mary is very excited to serve as secretary and will be very enthusiastic towards all the great tournaments and events that the club will be a part of this upcoming year!
Outside of tennis, Mary is actively involved with the Residence Hall Association as President of Commons, the Chinese Student Association as VP of Administration, UMD Operation Smile as Vice President, College Park Scholars, Comcast Center tutoring program, club field hockey, Primannum Honor Society, and various other organizations. |
