Rebecca Kiessling

Pro-life speaker and attorney to speak at University of Maryland

A recording of this talk is now available. Click here for mp3. Check back for video.

Date: Thursday, March 1, 2007
Time: 7-9pm
Location: 0220 Jimenez Hall
Open to the public

Rebecca Kiessling was conceived in rape and is herself the "exception" which many otherwise pro-life people see as an acceptable target for abortion.

She was nearly aborted two times, but fortunately her mother ended up giving birth and giving her to adoptive parents.

"One of the greatest things I’ve learned is that the rapist is NOT my creator, as some people would have me believe... I’ve learned, I’ll be able to teach my children, and I teach others that your value is not based on the circumstances of your conception, your parents, your siblings, your mate, your house, your clothes, your looks, your IQ... - these are the lies that are perpetuated in our society."
